Burke continues a tradition of athletic excellence. Since 1970, over 100 BMA graduates have been members of the US Ski Team or skied on other National Teams. 45 have been Olympians. BMA is the most successful program of its kind in the US.

Ski Coach: Adam Chadbourne
BA, Bates College, 1997, USSA Internationally Certified Coach. Adam is returning for his fifth year as Alpine Program Director at BMA following six years with the US Ski Team. While with the US Team Adam worked as the head coach of the mens Europa Cup SL/GS group and as the head of the Mens Development Team. Prior to his work with the mens team he led J3/J4 development efforts for the USSA, serving as the Youth Development Coach (running Eastern and NDS youth projects including Topolino and training camps around the world). Adam lives in Lyndon Center with his wife Alison and their daughters Emma and Anya.

Brief Ski history:
Learned to ski at Swadlincote dry slope, Derbyshire in 1996. I was the first girl to win the All England, Welsh and Irish champs in the same season at age 9. Since then I have gone on to compete around the world and have represented my country for the last 5 years on snow. I am currently planning my 2009/2010 season calendar.
